36" x 24" inches
2014

This piece evolved from a series of work or stick-stacks, made out of gathered brush, broken by hand, and carefully stacked, is part meditation-practice, part social-practice, and part studio-practice. Originally built near homeless encampments as art for the homeless, they are also monuments to them and reminders about the fragility we all share. This piece was an in studio exploration of materials and meditative process.
